A wave of joy swept through Maua town after Zaberio Mikirima, a local boutique sales representative and long-time SportPesa player, won Ksh 10 million in the company’s popular Goal Rush game.
Having played on SportPesa since 2014, Mikirima said his persistence finally paid off.
“I’ve been with SportPesa for over ten years, and I always believed my day would come,” he said. “My friends used to call me ‘One Million of Multibet’ because I loved betting on multiple games. Now they’ll have to call me ‘Ten Million of Goal Rush’.”
Joined by his wife Dorothy, the couple expressed their gratitude and shared plans for the winnings. Dorothy described the moment as “a blessing beyond words,” adding that the money will help them secure their family’s future and expand their business in Maua.
“This money will go a long way in helping us build a home and invest in our future,” said Zaberio. “SportPesa has been part of my life, and I’ll keep playing.”
Mikirima’s win makes him the fifth Ksh 10 million Goal Rush winner, joining a growing list of Kenyans who have benefited from the game’s massive rewards.
