Kenya’s street culture just got a major energy boost. To mark ten years of cultural influence, Chrome, one of Kenya’s most iconic brands, has unveiled Chromoka — a nationwide campaign that celebrates creativity, community, and progress. The campaign’s name blends “Chrome” with “Omoka” (Swahili for “to make it”), symbolizing the journey of hustlers and dreamers who turn effort into success.

Azeezah Hashim, kept the crowd on their feet as a lineup of Kenya’s top talents stormed the stage. Maanday Kabaya, Harry Craze, and Toxi Lyrikali delivered high-octane performances that set the tone unapologetically to Kenyans. But the energy soared even higher when Fathermoh took over. His set became the night’s turning point, especially when he surprised fans by bringing out Sean MMG and Tipsy G, sending the crowd into a frenzy of cheers, lyrics, and flashing lights.

That atmosphere; vibrant, fearless, and united — perfectly embodied what Chromoka stands for. More than a campaign, it’s a movement that celebrates those who rise, create, and make their mark.

Over the last decade, Chrome has become more than just a drink — it’s been a staple at concerts, block parties, and creative events across the country. Chromoka captures this legacy while inviting Kenyans to join in the next chapter: a celebration of ambition, originality, and the joy of making it on one’s own terms.

"For a decade, Chrome has been more than just a beverage; it has been an integral part of countless cultural moments — a silent witness to joy, creativity, and connection," said Andrew Kilonzo, Country Managing Director at EABL.
“Chromoka is our way of honoring that journey and reaffirming our commitment to Kenya’s cultural pulse.”
